Industrieel Product Ontwerpen (HBO)

Choosing IPO

When scoping the aim of my education I considered several options like the Design Academy, IPO in different cities and options like Human technology. Weighing the soft and hard side of product design I ended up choosing the relatively hard direction of Industrial Product Design. The main reason for this choice is the need to train myself to turn the cloud castles in my mind into real tangible impact. The moto of IPO Zwolle was ‘Feet on the ground, head in the clouds’ which fitted me quite well.

Finalizing IPO

The graduation project ended up being a dream come true, when I was accepted to research and develop Truly Wireless earbuds for the Dutch company Dopple. Focusing on Consumer acceptance, research and product development I am happy to look back on a very interesting and successful well graded (9) project.

Moving to Eindhoven

After graduation and an appropriate celebration, I got the opportunity to work at VanBerlo in Eindhoven. And so, bags where packed and a new adventure began. Now 3 years after the move, I look to a process of rapid growth and professionalization. With dozens of projects with a broad variety in the pocket it is time to look further and expand my horizon.
